I abandoned the tube of Australian Salmon Gum and mixed my own shade of coral from one of my favourite acrylic paint colours – Jo Sonja’s Rose Pink. So much better!

However, I did still struggle with the paint application. I felt like the foam brush that I was using was soaking up the paint and not laying down a thick and opaque enough coat of paint. So I literally painted this light coral shade a million times over just to build up the opaqueness. And yes I did switch brushes but I was still having a bad day with the consistency of paint, so it took a while.

I’m starting to think that my tube of titanium white is a little thicker than it needs to be. I might have to switch brands.

The world: ignites in me, a sense of curiosity. My mind does not settle until it can comprehend, until it understands. For the physical world, creation has always been my enduring method of choice. For the spiritual world, all-encompassing practices like yoga and meditation, a belief in a higher energy, and writing have always been the soothing and balancing tools I have returned to, to re-ground myself. This is my journey of self-expression. Through written words and different forms of art. To my soul, my inner essence.
