Pouring Technique Mediums

There is a range of painting mediums out there that can be used to blend and flow paint together. However, at the moment the following list is what seems to be trending on YouTube.

  • Jo Sonja’s Flow Medium
  • Liquitex Flow Aid Medium
  • Golden GAC 100

If you can spare the time you should check out some YouTube videos and see some of the amazing results people achieve.

However, be warned that it can take awhile to get used to the paints and the flow medium you are working with. So perhaps at first, you may not achieve what you expect. But keep trying. And look out for any common reactions happening with your paint and flow medium of choice. Developing a mental cheat sheet will go a long way to improving your results!

Have you tried using the acrylic pouring technique? What has been your experience?

The world: ignites in me, a sense of curiosity. My mind does not settle until it can comprehend, until it understands. For the physical world, creation has always been my enduring method of choice. For the spiritual world, all-encompassing practices like yoga and meditation, a belief in a higher energy, and writing have always been the soothing and balancing tools I have returned to, to re-ground myself. This is my journey of self-expression. Through written words and different forms of art. To my soul, my inner essence.
