Today was spent just focusing on taping down my remaining stack of inspiration and annotating the features. I am determined to get this done so we can start the painting process.
I am starting to get paranoid about not physically painting when this project is 100 days of abstract painting. But then again I know this is just an unhealthy thought and I am happy with this process.

I don’t know where it’s going to lead me, what I will learn, what I will develop and gain experience from, so I just need to trust the motions. And that’s entirely why in my heart, when I wrote down that this was acrylic painting following the guidance of Flora Bowley, I knew that these sessions would be an amalgamation of activities in the painting process. And the painting process has more than just layering colours on the canvas. It is an experience in itself, rather than the action of using a paintbrush.

So just going to push that ill-thought aside, however, I am going to use it as healthy motivation, to make sure I am being efficient in this concept and idea phase.

The world: ignites in me, a sense of curiosity. My mind does not settle until it can comprehend, until it understands. For the physical world, creation has always been my enduring method of choice. For the spiritual world, all-encompassing practices like yoga and meditation, a belief in a higher energy, and writing have always been the soothing and balancing tools I have returned to, to re-ground myself. This is my journey of self-expression. Through written words and different forms of art. To my soul, my inner essence.
