Nature Flowers
So you many not know this about me but I dislike flowers that are overpowering, have a very amplified presence and that seek too much attention. Actually, I think this sentence just pretty much sums up the kind of people that I feel uncomfortable being around. There may be nothing wrong with these types of people but it just does not blend well with the energy inside of me, so I just move aside.
Anyway, this blog post is about flowers, and what I have decided to call nature flowers. I know, I know, all flowers exist in nature.
I also dislike flowers that have just become too cliche, like roses. I just feel like they have been completely overdone by society and in the western culture. I would rather appreciate a rose for the flower it is and the natural beauty it may possess than to blindly obsess about roses just because they are roses. I think if you were to quote Shakespeare right now and ask people whether they would appreciate a rose if it were called something else, the answer would be no. Unfortunately, we have become more obsessed with labels than we have of the value of things.
Now that you know a bit about my flower preferences and views of flowers in society, you will understand why the flowers in this gallery of photos is a little different to what you may have expected. They are not overpowering. They are not shouting, look at me, look at me!
They simply exist in nature in harmony with each other and with all the other nature elements they are surrounded by.
I hope you take the time to appreciate these flowers, because, in my opinion, they are just as beautiful, if not more beautiful, than a flower that’s been hyped up in society.
All photos were taken using camera Canon EOS 750D (known as Rebel T6i in the US). Photos were post-processed and edited in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.
I hoped you’ve enjoyed this gallery of nature flowers. Yes, I will continue to make up my own term for these flowers!
Have a great day!
