SALA 2018 Art Exhibition
The chase of dancing colours on the canvas. An expression of the emotional and physical ebb and flow of life through colour and texture.
Well hello there! Guess what?!
Some cool Australian Winter news…
I’m participating in the 2018 SALA Festival in August!
My solo art exhibition for the SALA Festival is titled ‘Chasing Dancing Colours’ and will be on display at the café & breakfast bar Erb ‘N’ Flo on Sturt St, Adelaide.
The theme for this abstract art exhibition will be the chase of dancing colours on the canvas. It will be a visual expression of the emotional and physical ebb and flow of life through colour and texture.
If this concept resonates with you, then please view the exhibition during the festival month of August.
All Chasing Dancing Colours exhibition pieces will be available for in-person viewing at the venue during their trade hours, and online viewing via our dedicated SALA 2018 page here on the Moments by Charlie website.
During the exhibition, free live painting events will also be hosted at the venue. All are welcome, including kids.
So far, two dates for the Live Painting have been confirmed.
August 8th 11 am – 12.30pm
August 23rd 11 am – 12.30pm
Pre-register your attendance to claim a free VIP goodie bag for pick-up on the day. There could a free art in there… just saying…
To pre-register please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and date of attendance.
You can also email us to request additional days and dates.
There will also be a raffle running during the exhibition, to win 1 of 2, 16” x 20” canvas art, painted by Charlie Albright.
Raffle ticket purchases (kids free) are available from venue throughout the exhibition dates.
The Chasing Dancing Colours art exhibition will also be using the SALA Festival event as an opportunity to raise funds for the following charities: RAH (Royal Adelaide Hospital), WCH (Women’s and Children’s Hospital), RMH (Royal Melbourne Hospital) and beyondblue.
In order to raise funds for these local and national charities, a select number of artworks in the exhibition collection will be marked with the corresponding charity, and a portion of proceeds from the sale of that artwork during the SALA Festival will be donated.
Erb ‘N’ Flo is located at 153 Sturt St, Adelaide (very close to Whitmore Square).
It’s open 7am to 4pm Monday to Saturday, and 9am to 4pm on Sundays. Coffee, food and art is available all day!
The Chasing Dancing Colours exhibition will be on display at the café from Wednesday August 1st to Friday August 31st, available for viewing during trading hours.
